On the flip side, the resort spa showers have intense pressure and are incredible. They charge Westin prices, and even Westins have nice waterfall showers with good pressure. Hotel rooms in Sky Tower: As someone mentioned earlier, the shower pressure is awful. We had booked spa services later in the day, so we wanted to visit the pool as soon as it opened. The staff opened the cabana at the same time as seating us, so it’s not like they had a ton of prep work to do. To Fix: - Pool cabana check-in: The pool opens at 10am, and cabana check-in is at 11am. Some of the rules and “nickel and dime” practices are ridiculous for a property specifically designed for people to organically spend money the whole time they are on-site. However, there are inefficiencies that need to be addressed before I keep booking more trips unless I catch one of their super low priced weekday rates. The adult pool and spa are fun and relaxing, and the steakhouse is top notch ALL are a must for each visit. Overall, this is a fantastic place to meet friends and hang out. I have been here twice for two nights each over the past two weeks for different friend get togethers (we are all 39-40). You don’t just treat your VIP members like that. Mind you we also spend a lot of money here, and we are VIP status. He even apologizes, but we were not given anything in return for the inconvenience. He says, and I quote, “this was your fault.” Choctaw’s website even says you can check in ANYTIME after 3pm. We’ve never had to call in before we came our previous stays before. We often visit here, not with many good experiences, but this might’ve been the worst. We didn’t get a SINGLE text or call about a confirmation, and the number he texted wasn’t even ours OR the one on file that he continuously argued. Turns out the “host of our room” named BRYAN cancelled because he “called and texted us several times” in the morning to confirm if we’re still going. We called the front desk, and they said they don’t even know what was going on. Halfway to the resort, packed and ready, it said the reservation was cancelled.
